Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) [Exc = 493 nm/ Emmax = 518 nm] and tetramethylrhodamine B isothiocyanate (TRITC) [Exc = 550 nm/ Emmax = 572 nm] tagged nanoparticles.

These are tagged with magnetite nanoparticles.

These materials can be used in the same way as the standard dextran nanoparticles. The fluorescence of TRITC functionalised FluoreMAG®A shows only slight changes over the pH range 3-9. For FITC functionalised FluoreMAG®B then the maximum intensity is at a pH above 7.
